Graduate Minor Programs & Graduate Program for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies
Osaka University offers graduate students opportunities to study in fields outside of their areas of specialization and related fields in which they can apply their expertise while working on their academic major. The Graduate Minor Program and Graduate Program for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies are educational programs in which subjects are systematically organized according to certain academic themes for students to effectively acquire multifaceted and comprehensive perspectives. Students receive a certificate of completion upon successfully completing a certain number of credits.

Program for Leading Graduate Schools
Program for Leading Graduate Schools is intended to become a driving force behind drastic reform in applicable areas of graduate school education at leading educational centers. Program for Leading Graduate Schools aims to promote the efforts of graduate schools to create and develop world-class degree programs, programs transcending field borders, with the aim of producing graduates capable of serving as international leaders in academia, business, and government.
Students at OSIPP have an opportunity to apply one of the Programs for Leading Graduate Schools, Cross-Boundary Innovation Program.
