English Presentation Course

November 2, 2020

English Presentation Course for OSIPP Students (FREE)

Registration open now!

As you may know, sadly, the OSIPP committee had to cancel the overseas internship support for students this year due to the spread of the COVID-19. However, the committee has decided to organize a course on English presentation to improve the English proficiency for OSIPP students, inviting special English native lecturers from the ECC company.

Many OSIPP students need to present their research and ideas in English on occasions such as at international conferences and seminars; this course will be a chance to learn the skills and tricks necessary to be confident and accomplished presenters.

The course text is based on the materials taken from Ted Talks. This will be used by the special lecturers to teach English expressions, good pronunciation, pacing and gestures, and to organize their presentations in a holistic way.

Furthermore, some students may be active in their job internationally in the future. They may be expected to demonstrate English proficiency in a professional business setting. This course will meet those needs as well.

On the course, the special lecturers will integrate the ideas and requests from students into the way they run the course, please do not hesitate to talk to the lecturers.

The course will consist of 13 two-hour sessions during which participants will see improvement in their English proficiency and communicative confidence. We hope you take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to become more assured communicators in English and we are certain that this course will be an asset for your future.
