We will subsidize research funds with the aim of enhancing the learning environment of the doctoral program of OSIPP, enhancing the attractiveness of OSIPP, and promoting the step-up from the master’s program to the doctoral program of OSIPP.
Research expenses (50,000 yen) will be paid to the five students selected among the students enrolled in the doctoral program at OSIPP.
Must be enrolled in the OSIPP Master’s Program.
１：Research plan after admission to the doctoral program (the same one as that prepared for the entrance examination can be used).
２：Transcript up to the summer semester of the second year of the master’s program (the same documents as those used for the entrance examination can be used, and a scanned copy is acceptable).
３：Recommendation letter (recommendation letter certifying that the person is worthy of paying research funds on the premise of passing the doctoral program) written by two OSIPP faculty members or faculty members of the Graduate School of Economics, Law, or Law school (at least one must be an OSIPP faculty member).
The deadline for application and submission of the documents is the end of November. By the end of November, it will be submitted to the Dean of the Graduate School by mail through your academic advisor (or one of the faculty members who writes the recommendation letter). Therefore, students should submit a set of required application documents by e-mail to the relevant faculty member at least 3 days in advance.
Selection will be made in December of the second year of the master’s program, and research expenses (50,000 yen) will be paid to the top five students selected based on the overall evaluation after enrollment in the doctoral program, on the condition of admission to the doctoral program. The payment period will be around April. The selection will be made strictly by the Dean and the Deputy Dean of OSIPP.
