Welcome to OSIPP International Student Office

Osaka School of International Public Policy (OSIPP) has an International Student Office. It is located at the room 205 of the OSIPP building. The office is open every day and serves as a center to support international as well as Japanese students. Our main services are as follows:

1. Support for Internship

Many students at OSIPP aim to gain practical experiences in the field of public policy and plan to do an internship abroad. The Office (ISO) provides them with information and necessary support.

Every year several students take advantage of the OSIPP scholarship for internship abroad and gain valuable experiences. The destination of internship includes UN New York main office,IOM Geneve,UNICEF East Timor, ILO Switzerland main office, UNDP South Africa, UNESCO Peking,JICA El Salvador, OECD Paris, UNIDO Vienna, and UNODC Laos.

2. Support for Study Abroad

Living in a highly globalized world, it is getting more and more essential to experience living and studying in different cultures. OSIPP responds to this global trend and encourages our students to study abroad.

Osaka University has agreements of the student exchange with many universities worldwide. You may study abroad from one semester to one year, and receive some credits for your study abroad.

OSIPP has its own agreements with various institutions. You may also earn double degree through the program with universities in Holland and Philippines. Many OSIPP students study abroad through the exchange program, which is a great advantage to their future career.

3. International Café

The International Office promotes exchange among international and Japanese students. The room is open as a café every day from 12 to 1 pm.  Students stop by casually and enjoy conversation with fellow students. You are most welcome to join us!

4. Consultation room for international students

International students may encounter unexpected challenges and problems, and experience great stress while living in a new environment. The International Office serves as a consultation room for them.
